Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Ines Grimaux, an independent visual artist based in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, collects, uses, and protects personal data gathered through inesgrimaux.com ("the Site"). This policy is written in accordance with Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law No. 13.709/2018) and, for visitors located in the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
When you use the contact form, the Site collects the personal data you voluntarily provide: name, email address, subject, and message content. This information is transmitted to a third-party form-processing service (Google Apps Script) solely to deliver your message to Ines Grimaux's email inbox.
If you accept the use of cookies through the banner shown on your first visit, the Site also uses Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) to understand how visitors use the Site — pages viewed, time on site, and general navigation patterns. No analytics data is collected before you give consent, and you may withdraw it at any time (see the Cookie Policy).
Data submitted via the contact form is processed based on your consent and Ines Grimaux's legitimate interest in responding to inquiries, commission requests, and collaboration proposals (LGPD Art. 7, items I and IX). Analytics data is processed exclusively based on your consent (LGPD Art. 7, item I; GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).
Personal data is shared only with the service providers strictly necessary to operate the Site: Google (Apps Script, for form delivery, and Analytics/Tag Manager, for aggregated usage statistics when consented). These providers may process data on servers located outside Brazil; by using the Site, you acknowledge this international transfer, which is necessary for the service to function.
Contact form messages are retained only for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and are not used for any other purpose. Analytics data, when consented to, is retained according to Google Analytics' standard retention settings.
Under the LGPD and, where applicable, the GDPR, you have the right to confirm the existence of processing, access your data, correct incomplete or outdated data, request anonymization or deletion, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact Ines Grimaux directly at the email address below. Brazilian residents may also lodge a complaint with the National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).
Reasonable technical measures are used to protect the data submitted through the Site. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
